GeGov Go-Live - 1 February 2012
The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and the Registrar-General’s Department (RGD) have commenced Business and Taxpayer Registration through the NEW GeGov System implemented by GCNet and its technical partners. The Total Revenue Integrated Processing System (trips™) went 'Live' on Monday, 5th December 2011 at the Registrar-General's Department (RGD) and since then, over 10,000 Taxpayers have been successfully issued with Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Certificates. Numerous others have been issued with Business Registration Certificates generated from the GeReg® system.

The system interfaces with a number of other Government systems to provide automated identity verification of National Identity Cards, Driver’s License and Voters Cards.

Users can also register at any GRA Tax Office and they will receive automatic E-Mail or SMS notification to confirm successful issuance of their TIN or Business Registration Certificates.
